Checklist:
If you DO NOT currently hold a Firearms License:
- Obtain a Statement of 'Eligibility to Join an Approved Pistol Club' from the Queensland Police Service (Link to obtain form can be found at the end of this application)
- Obtain two (2) character references from people whom you are not related to and who have known you for at least 2 years.
- Be prepared to undergo a Firearms Safety Course for Cat H Weapons
- Complete and submit an Application for Membership together with supporting documents, and scan/attach a copy of your statement of eligibility and pay the appropriate fee(s).
Applicants who hold a current Australian Weapons Licence other than a Concealable Licence:
- Obtain two (2) character references from people whom you are not related to and who have known you for at least 2 years.
- Complete and submit an Application for Membership together with supporting documentation, please scan/attach your current firearms licence.
Applicants who hold a current Queensland Concealable Weapons Licence:
- Obtain two (2) character references from people to whom you are not related and people who have known you for at least two (2) years
- Obtain an Approved Club Declaration (QP518A) from your current Club
- Complete and submit an Application for Membership, together with supporting documentation
